2016 Technology Education House Project - SOLD

Here is information on the 2015-16 House Project

A new home shell, one story, 24' x 36' with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, utility room, and one full bathroom framed in, was sold to the high bidder over a minimum of $24,000. The house was located at Northwestern High School, Maple, WI. Following are the features of this home:

  1. I Joist floor framing with Advantech subfloor sheathing.
  2. 2x6 exterior wall construction.
  3. Engineered roof truss system with 1’ heel height.
  4. 5/8” OSB used on the roof sheathing.
  5. 7/16” OSB used on wall sheathing.
  6. Great Room ceiling is vaulted.
  7. Pre-finished half log siding from Lake States Lumber.
  8. Aluminum soffits and fascia (Rollex brand).
  9. High performance insulated Marvin Integrity clad windows, Northern Low E and Argon-Filled, with screens throughout.
  10. Matching Marvin Ultimate Sliding French door.
  11. Bayer Built insulated steel entry door, metal clad jambs.
  12. Roof shingled with Certainteed Landmark 30, 250# asphalt shingles (Weathered Wood color).

This house was sold as a shell. The interior of the building was framed in, but wiring, plumbing, finished flooring,
sheet rock, insulation, etc. had not been completed.
